I do not know the history of the company but I think this is a beautiful piece. I have researched other pieces by this same makers mark and do not find anything. It measures 2 inches long and 1 inch tall at its highest point. Has a roll under clasp that works as it should. What a gorgeous statement piece. Reference: BR Drawer 5
