Beautiful Trilogi Collection 100% wool coat, girls 8 (generously sized)

This coat is a wow. I bought it in New York when my kid was tiny just because I thought it was so great. It's all wool, with a polyester lining and cotton velvet trim. (These coats come with faux-fur trim, as well, but I think the velvet is classier.) It's got inverted pleats front and back to give it a beautiful princess shape (and a lot of swing), plus hidden pockets on the seam. I'd say it's a little darker in person--a slightly flecked charcoal--than in the pictures where it's hanging. As it turns out, although it's marked as an 8, my kid didn't wear it until she was 10 or so--and even then it was big on her. I'd say it's more like a standard 12. She's outgrown it too quickly--it's hardly worn at all. Honestly, if it fit me, I'd keep it for myself.
