Because of the community here at Poshmark, I sent out an SOS for accessories and makeup for this piece and got the help I requested! Two of my necklaces are from Poshmark, as is some of the makeup AND the dress itself! Pre-customization, of course. If interested, please make a bundle so we can discuss measurements so I can hem it. ladystarli @magen83 - This is the final hunk of fabric. If you think you can make stuff to accessorize this, by all means, brainstorm. I am open. Of the three, this has been the hardest for me to think of accessories. Though, if I'm being honest, the nebula one is also proving difficult.

pretty_lady @ladystarli ...this pattern is beautiful. The pattern speaks for itself honestly. With the jewelry and accessories, don’t do too much with it because the pattern stands alone. I would recommend earrings of course. A nice light necklace as well. If this is a dress, is it sleeveless, sleeves, halter, v-cut etc? The only thing I think is...this dress looks very light weight.

pretty_lady @ladystarli ...so my concern would be the weather. But I really like the print. I think a nice dangle earring would be nice and a very subtle handbag that doesn’t over power the dress.

ladystarli @pretty_lady - Just posted two new pictures. It's not finished, yet. It still needs the skirt extended and flared, which will also be with the rainbow fabric. But, you get the basic gist.

ladystarli @pretty_lady - Also, weather isn't going to be an issue. It's an indoor event and I'm staying at the venue. Also, the main dress is a knit, so, a ton less light and flowy than the rainbow add-ons.

pretty_lady @ladystarli ...the dress is actually purple and the colorful piece acts as like a cover up. Great! I love it! For shoes, what did you have in mind?

ladystarli @pretty_lady - It's actually more navy than purple. I was going for indigo when I dyed it, but, you know how that goes. It's actually a cape. The dress itself has a cape, so I added a rainbow one on top of it. The sleeves are super short, so I extended them, too. The skirt has yet to be extended, but I think I know how I'm going to do that.

ladystarli @pretty_lady - Honestly, I don't know. I've a pair of burgundy flats that could work, but I'm in the process of ordering purple shoes for the dress not pictured and green ones for the green dress and either of those wold work, too. And, if I ordered a custom pair for the nebula print, I imagine those would go with this, too. Shoes are easy. Jewelry, not so much.

pretty_lady @ladystarli ...what the...you dyed it?! Omg! Wow! I am blown away. It’s really nice. I really think that the jewelry doesn’t need to be much. A pop of color of course (those included in the dress). Jewelry with silver hardware would probably be my recommendation. Gold hardware wouldn’t match properly. The shoes should probably be all one color.

pretty_lady @ladystarli ...but on the other hand...if you do choose shoes with more than one color, I would say let them focus on mainly one color. Don’t want them to overtake the dress. I think you are on the right track honestly.
