mrose_vintage @lucylovesyou123 I was wondering about that🤨I used to live in Michigan and I felt like winter was 9 months out of the year. I hear what your saying. ROFL if it helps it snowed for 1 night in Texas, this last year. It has not done that it in 30 something years lol

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage yes, they were okay :) My family is mostly in California and Mexico but it's nice to know I also have family in Texas, not a lot. It's funny to hear my cousins Mexican Texan accent, and then hear my other Mexican family's.

mrose_vintage @lucylovesyou123 lol living in Texas the traditional Mexican settlers here were called themselves Tehano's Its been soo fun learning about the traditional Mexican culture and REAL Mexican food, smh TexMex is all over the place hahaha

mrose_vintage @lucylovesyou123 really I'll know it's true I loved in Los Angeles for 5 years when I moved to Texas I was totally Amazed at the difference. I love do love the "Freshness if the Baja Style Mexican. More seafood. Lol dang now I'm hungry for 🌮. I Soo love our chats💕🌷 Happy birthday friend!

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage yes, a big difference. I prefer Mexican culture in California, they have more authentic food too but I guess it all has it's pros and cons, I know not all "Texanos" are like that, but by Mexicans they are know by it.

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage yes, I am not always sure about him, but my mom and brothers and kids always do something, he usually may just give me a gift, so yeah we will see how it goes, I have been on grumpy mode with him this week and last because i am trying to go to Mexico this year, so who knows, he doesn't want me to go this year, grrrrr, I haven't gone for 2 or 3 years. I am not a US Citizen yet but on APRIL 4TH will be, I will have dual citizenship, after being in this country since I was 2!!

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage I know, :( seriously, and seriously Mexicans have been in the US long before Europeans came, is what many people don't know, but we have always gone through discrimination, no matter what. Most Mexicans are 70 percent or more Native American.

mrose_vintage @lucylovesyou123 You know I think its Filipino, and yes Spain 1st conquered the Philippines. Then the U.S. came to the aid. I always say that the Philippines is like the Mexico of the Orient. Very Spanish influenced. Over 100 words are Spanish in the Tagalog language

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage yes I know, :) lots in common :) except we didn't get rescued, we were invaded by the US, they declared war on the Mexican people to conquer land, and here we are today :) Mexican American war, we were already independent from Spain when the US declared war on Mexico's people, and now well, half of Mexico is US land. The end hahahaha

lucylovesyou123 @mrose_vintage well, I know both sides of history, Mexican and US, even the Irish fought on Mexico's side, they were mistreated by the Anglo-Saxon. In Mexico there is a plaque dedicated to these Irish soldiers. Back then and in 50's Mexico was better off but after all the turmoil, it is reaping what was done in the past, and so that's why the US will have to deal with all the Mexican migration forever. I will stop now, hahaha I am also a history fan,
