crunyon037 @lollysplace plated means that most of the metal in the ring is other metals. What they do when producing plated they make the ring with the other metals and then coat in Sterling. A large amount of my pieces are solid. Since this is plated you would have to take special care to not wear down the Sterling. For instance cleaning with product and other harsh environments.
