Beautiful "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" Religious Icon on Polished Granite Slab This is a breathtakingly beautiful "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" Religious Icon on a very Heavy Polished Granite Slab with the stand also made of the same stone propping up the piece. It is very heavy at approximately 12lbs. The piece is presented in variations of blue and gold tones. The Byzantine-style icon depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus. Mary’s gaze is directed at the viewer, conveying her compassion, intercession and protection. The Child Jesus clings to Mary, symbolizing both humanity and divinity. The piece measures 12" high by 10" wide with a width of 6" with the granite stand attached on the back of the piece. It is in beautiful condition with very minor wear. The lower left corner of the piece has a small chip on the back which does not affect the square front face of the piece or its presentation. This is such a gorgeous, classic depiction of a beautiful Icon and a symbol of help and protection.
