Beautiful Handmade traditional Native American Wedding Vase

The Native American Wedding Vase. Wedding vases are ceremonial items. The entire ceremony is centered around the shared use of this gorgeous vessel, which preserves the sanctity of marriage. Each drinks from the vessel then they both drink from the vessel at the same time. Tradition dictates that if they are able to do this without spilling any liquid, they are destined to sustain a long life together. This vessel was purchased in New Mexico. This is a vintage sand art pot. It is brown with turquoise and blues. Measures Approx 8”H x 5” W x 5”D front to back. Please see photos for condition. There is a tiny pink spot on the top, otherwise than that, It is in beautiful condition. Purchased that way.
