Beautiful Alabaster Genuine Italian alabaster jewelry box,treasure box,keep sake

Amazing, beautiful Italian treasure. Alabaster is a softer stone, that is why it is chosen to carve into various pieces. This alabaster box is vintage. Hence the markings from natural use. The bottom side of the box does look like it has been scraped across something. The hinge needs to be straightened out as well. Thanks for peeking into my closet, sorry for the mess.
