Beautiful 100% Silk Peasant Blouse with Flounced Sleeves Plus Size 2X

Offered is a handmade, genuine pure silk blouse (12mm silk) in winter white/ivory color. The blouse is a peasant style chemise top with no buttons or other fasteners. It goes over the head and has a gathered elastic neckline. It also features flounced sleeves with elastic that may be pulled up the arm for a three-quarter length. This garment was made in November 2004, but has a distinctive vintage and retro look. It was worn once to a Madrigal dinner then cleaned and pressed. Even though the blouse is a 2X size, it is "flowing and forgiving" in its construction and can be worn by 1X to 3X sizes. It is in nearly new condition. It will be the perfect addition as an undergarment for a Renaissance, Medieval or other period dress (see photos -- dress is for sale in another posting), as a top underneath a vest or simply worn alone with jeans or a skirt.
