Bearded Santa Elves Vintage Christmas Musical Band Figurines Paper Mache Japan

Offering this 6 piece vintage band of charming handcrafted MCM Santa or elves figures dating from the 1950's stamped on the bottom base Japan. The figures each measures approx. 4" x 2.5-3.5 " and made of cotton, chenille sticks, crepe paper, paper mache, cardboard with hand painted faces and a snowy applied added decoration. Shown are a string player with bow and string instrument, a horn player, a percussion player with one stick only and a player with two cymbals. Two band mates are missing their equipment, hands are empty. Considerations to restore would be holding a music sheet, conductors wand or an accordion are options for buyer to replace if desired. Up close examination shows some general imperfections. Some fading to chenille stems, wear to fragile paper hoods. The facial expressions vary as shown. Similar puffy cotton hair, beard and outfits as shown.
