Is this still available? And if so, can you send more photos so I can see the whole dress? Also what number size is it?
Jan 09Reply

scargo211957
@paigerechtman Yes, still available. I'll get more pics tomorow and measurements. There's no size, totally couture custom made, but style can handle some different shapes. It's appriximateky a size 6 with some allowable stretch. Sue

paigerechtman
@scargo211957 size 6 is perfect for me! :) are you in the NYC area by chance?
Jan 09Reply

paigerechtman
@scargo211957 and yes would love to see a photo of the full front of the dress, if possible, on someone too!
Jan 09Reply

scargo211957
@paigerechtman I'm an hour north of the city. There's buses up here too if that helps and b & b's if you want to spend a day hiking, eating, or wineries and then staying overnight that's an option too. I can only get a pic on the bust it's on tho, sorry. I don't want to stretch it out at all. I will get you pics by late afternoon. It's so beautiful!

Do you have any more information on the history of the dress? When was it made? How did you get the dress? Do you know if it was worn in a wedding? Are you certain it came from Kleinfeld's? Any more details would be appreciated. I'm very interested. Also, is 60" length from shoulder to floor? Thank you!
Jan 20Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk I hold estate sales and also help another woman with hers in Westchester. I personally spoke to the owner and she told me the designer where she got it and how much she paid. I don't know when, but when checking other CP couture designs it was in line with their pricing. Other than that I don't know if she wore it, but would assume she may have for a 2nd wedding, not her 1st. It's just beautiful. I will get back to you on the length bit later :)

crouchk
Sorry, I have one more question. What is the general condition of the dress? Thanks again.
Jan 21Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk It's in excellent condition. I don't see any issues, but if so they would be so minor. Well worth the price I think.
Jan 22Reply

crouchk
Great. Let me know about the length
Jan 22Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk Excuse the delay, it's 60" from the back.if the neckline to the end of the train.
Jan 24Reply

crouchk
I’m really sorry, but I need to know the length of the front of the dress.
Jan 24Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk No worries, side and front are 45".
Jan 24Reply

crouchk
Unfortunately that definitely won’t work. It appears it’s made for someone in the 4 ft 10 in height range. Way too short. It’s too bad because I love it and think it would have been perfect. Thanks for answering all my questions. Good luck!
Jan 24Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk I don't think so as I did my measurements and I'm 5'4" and if I were that size the length would have fit me.. The woman whose it was was much taller than 4' 10". It would even fit me w heels.
Jan 24Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk Also the front was measured from the V in the bodice, same as from the underarm, so I think I didn't explain that properly. I should measure from the top off the shoulder but if you take your measurement from under your arm that will give you much better idea.
Jan 24Reply

crouchk
I was wondering if it was something like that. I need to know the length from shoulder to floor, not including train. Thanks.
Jan 25Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk I can measure the shoulder to the bottom of the armhole, then add that, otherwise would have to do it from the back n would not be accurate but let's see.
Jan 25Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk It's another 9" from bottom of arm hole to outer top of shoulder. then towards the neck it's 11". Hope this helps, sorry it's been so confusing with my measurements, but I understand why you need to be exact and hope it works and if not I hope you find what you are looking for. When is your wedding?
Jan 25Reply

crouchk
Darn. Still too short. Thanks again.
Jan 25Reply

scargo211957
@crouchk Much luck on your search, sorry it won't work.
Jan 26Reply

crouchk
Thanks. I'd hoped the 60" and 73" in your description were the length. I'm really glad I asked. Good luck!

My chest is 36-37and hips 40-41. Is the fabric underneath cut on bias and does it have stretch-/movement? I am 5 ft 4 so do length should be ok…
Mar 07Reply

scargo211957
@amypool572 I will check and get back to you this afternoon on the stretch.

Hi there, I’m considering this for my wedding but I’m nervous to make such a large purchase (and decision) without trying it on or seeing it in person. I understand the Poshmark return policy to be if it’s not as described, but what I’m wondering is, if I purchase it and if (no fault of yours), it isn’t right for me or my wedding, and I try it on quickly and get it back to you and pay for shipping will you take a return on this item?
Mar 10Reply

scargo211957
@marlatru8 I would consider it if you give me your measurements if you don't mind. There is a little give but just want to make sure it's not stretched out. I would request it to be sent back within a week of receiving it also. What state are you in?

I am 5'5", 108 pounds, 34B bra size, 26 waist. The listing states this dress is a small. Reading over the comments, it seems much larger... can you confirm? I don't want to have to spend a lot on alterations. ty
