@flutist4129 hi! Nope no damage. I had it shortened and the slit reinforced because I was worried it come apart with dancing. The tailor made the slit look better than when I bought it from Bloomingdales. I’ll show pictures. I’m 5’4’’ and wore about 3+ inch heels
