Original watercolor painting by noted California artist, Kenneth Siqueira (1922-2009) ‘Barns in West Marin’ and measures 8” x 9”. Color palette: maize yellow, greens, lavender, taupe, etc. Beautiful detail of rustic barns and fencing. The glass is broken but easily replaced by removing screws on the back. This is reflected in the price. I would prefer the new buyer decide if wants clear or non-glare, or more of a matte glass as feel that is personal preference and depends on how/where displaying the piece. New buyer may also opt for a different frame requiring different glass dimensions. Ken was born in Oakland, grew up in Berkeley and graduated from college in San Francisco after service as a military policeman in Europe during World War II. Ken taught music for most of his thirty years with the Berkeley School District. The next 30 years were spent painting beautiful watercolors many of which depicted Northern California landscapes within Marin, Mendocino and Sonoma counties.
