beautifulusa @craigd3747 hey Craig, I saw ur comment.. if u have professional grade scissors that are razor sharp u should be able to thin the hair w them just fine 💁💁 u would need to be able to practically apply the technique of course as the scissors obviously do not have a guard; but these would work just like a thinning razor w.o the guard. ud use just 1 of the blades & slide it right along the hairshaft to thin it out! it gives some more controll as well👱‍♀️ check out online videos for great techniques!

craigd3747 @beautifulusa I appreciate your insight, but I’m aware of how to cut hair considering I have owned and worked at my own shop for many years. The reason I asked was because the description says thinning as well, yet there’s no thinning shears pictured like all the other sets that were sold. I would only have these pairs used for practice by my son on mannequins as to not dull my very expensive shears. Have a good night.

beautifulusa @craigd3747 oh trust me, I know all about very expensive shears; I have a 22mm screw in my wrist & HAVE to use custom made shears w/ 360° rotating thumb holders. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to work; I'm a bit younger & graduated in '09, but have had a salon in my house since before graduation. I was lucky enough to go to school when they decided (got grant money) to redue the school. So all the "old" equipment was available for the students to buy🍀 Cheers!
