In the first picture, it looks like there is tape or something on the top on the right side…is there something there? Thanks. Also, what is the armpit to armpit measurement and the width of the sleeve at the widest point? Thank you.

@pjmaier22, there is nothing there except the white "stripe" from the plaid. It was a problem with lighting. The top is 21 inches pit to pit.
