irisharlen @christina73 the hips are about 19.5” at the widest part and 17.5” at the narrowest part as you get closer to the waist. The fabric of the dress is a dense thicker fabric with a fair amount of stretch, especially below the waist band because above the band has a non stretchy lining, and below does not. The pit to pit measurement is 17.5” laying flat but 19-19.5” if you use the stretch. Hope this helps! And happy to answer any other questions!
