Comfortable Banana Republic Black Maxi Dress. GUC. 100% cotton w/ poly lining. There is very little fading-still a bright black. There is almost no pilling you can see with the naked eye, a couple pills here and there if you use a magnifying glass (very few). There is a small run/tiny hole under arm (last picture) but you cannot notice when wearing due to the flowy sleeves. I have hand washed it & it did not run any further. A staple piece to any wardrobe. Very expensive when I first bought it.

@alchemythreads I just inspected the entire dress under the brightest LED light in my house for you. There is not much fading, it is still a bright black. Barely any pulling that the naked eye can see, the only way I could see any pulling was with a magnifying glass, a few very tiny ones, but overall there is hardly any. There is a small run under the armpit, it was like that when I bought it. I included a new picture of it for you.

The run under the armpit is not noticeable when wearing because it has those glow type sleeves that cover it.

@alchemythreads I did hand wash the dress with Woolite for darks and there was no unraveling so it should be fine if you are ok with hand washing and hanging dry, that’s usually better for sweater type materials anyway and keeps them pill free longer 😊
