Banana Republic 1980s Vintage Brown Leather Walking Skirt Size 6*

I bought this skirt when I worked with Banana Republic in their advertising department back in the late 80's. As employees, we would get first dibs on sample clothing or imperfects (they would cut the tag out). This skirt had a sticker on the back, and it left a mark (see photos), which could probably be fixed up with some leather oil. I just wore a sweater over it. The leather is sheepskin, and is in excellent condition, despite it's age. It's a very soft, slightly distressed leather. The ad in the 1986 catalog tells more details on the skirt. 2 slits, front and back give allowance for a good stride while walking, while you look hot with the pencil styling. *Please note that although the size tag says it's a 6, the waistband measures 24". I am no longer 24"! Maybe you are? Waist: 24" hips: 36" Length: 32" Width of skirt, above the slits: 38"
