I removed the pillowcase, machine washed it with natural soap and baking soda, then rinsed with white vinegar, then air dried in the sun to sterilize (shown in photos). My family kept several of these, and we love them! They are all new... in sealed package, out of package, washed, and slightly flawed. Only one pillow can be shipped per order due to excessive weight. I will pay the additional cost for the heavy-weight label. The pillowcase is removable by full zip and machine washable. It's very soft and can be used alone, or you can put your own case on top of it.
