Ballou Sterling Locket with Box

Pretty sterling locket. Small with the initial ‘B’ engraved on the front. It does look like the chain will need to be cleaned( maybe from age) it may be vintage but I’m not sure. The case has a few spots on it otherwise in great condition. Smoke/pet free.
