Bakelite and floral needlework makeup compact

This vintage compact is green Bakelite and metal and features a floral piece of needlework (cross-stitch?). It has two compartments and two mirrors. Like most vintage items, it has been used over the decades. But has years of use left. A beautiful and unique piece. I'm not positive of the date, but would guess this is from the 1930s or so.
