merrybo @neutraljohn1 sorry for the delay!!! according to the tailor where we took them ( to be reduced to a 44) it is NOT advisable to let these trousers OUT as they are already made to a 48 inch waistband by the manufacturer; also by the manufacturer they have a 1.25” cuff, which could be made larger but again is unadvisable. Alterations look better when they are made smaller from the original original, not larger.. Thank you for your interest.

neutraljohn1 Forgot to ask: What is the Quality of the material? 140 or 150 or 160 or 170 or 180? This Number should be on a Tag, On a Label just inside the top of the pants or Less likely on a Label inside a Side Pocket.

merrybo I’m sorry that I’m just seeing your question. I’ve added 2 photos of the SEWN IN LABEL (on the listing) for you to see; I don’t know what the number is that you might be referring to and you can see on the Neiman Marcus tag all of the numbers, and there is nothing on the back of that tag.
