ceebees_closet I think this swimsuit is so pretty. Do you happen to know what cup size the 12 would fit? I was looking at the J Crew size chart and I guess they have standard sizing, D Cup and DD cup sizing for one pieces. I’m going to assume since this is a colander piece with Liberty that it is standard sizing? Can you please confirm? Thank you! 😊

fewofmyfavthngs @ceebees_closet I believe the 12 would work fit a D or double D size. I am a size D....34 around the chest measurement but I sized down to an 8 in this one so the straps would stay on better....however I lost some coverage over the back bottom when getting the 8...but I usually wear this suit with shorts anyway :-) i’m not exactly sure how all J.Crew suits work, however I usually fit well in the 10 hope that helps...If you would like me to try and measure I would be happy to

ceebees_closet @fewofmyfavthngs if you could measure across the chest that would be helpful. I have difficulty with one pieces. My bottom half is smaller than my top half. I thought with the side ruching that this bathing could work to accommodate both top and bottom.

fewofmyfavthngs @ceebees_closet Hi there. I hope this helps but I measured the 10 and it’s approximately 17 inches across the chest plus it is a nice stretchy material. The 12 is approximately 18 inches across the chest. I added a few photos with the tape measure to show and also the last photo is the ten laid over the 12 to see the difference in sizing

ceebees_closet @fewofmyfavthngs ugh I’m a 38 band size (19” on the half). I do realize bathing suit material does stretch, but will size 12 give that much across the chest? I don’t want to spill out of it.😩

fewofmyfavthngs @ceebees_closet no pressure to buy but I think it may work bc of the design of this suit. because where you place it on your shoulders can kind of give you more space in front.. this design is not an action swimsuit, if that’s what you’re looking for. It kind of sits on the sides of your shoulder, and without a backstrap and isn’t one I would want to swim a lap in...I want mine to the beach with high waisted shorts and it was super cute
