THE SMOOTH FEEL AND LUSTROUS SHEEN OF SATIN HIGHLIGHT THIS SENSATIONAL OFF-THE-SHOULDER FULL-LENGTH MERMAID GOWN BY BETSY & ADAM, SIZE 14 (MISSES). It's gently pre-owned, in excellent condition. A close inspection will find several tiny pin holes about 2.5 inches above the hemline all the way around. This is very inconspicuous; you have to know it's there, get close, and look for it. (When I acquired the gown, it had been shortened by being pinned up with safety pins on the inside. I've priced it about $15 lower than it would be without this minor and inconsequential flaw.) It's otherwise free of defects, damage, or signs of wear. It has a built-in bodice, a fuchsia waistband with horizontal pleating and a faux-gemstone brooch center front (pictures #9 & 10), and a floor-length black and white skirt. Closure is with a clasp and zipper in back. It's fully lined in lustrous black 100% polyester fabric with a 16" attachment of stiff tulle. The outer satin fabric is 100% polyester, dry clean only recommended. It was made in the U.S.A. The stated size is 14, apparently a Misses size, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 17.5"; waist 15.5"; hips 19.5"; hemline 60"; length (in back, neckline to hem) 49". If you like the dress but not the price, don’t despair, I’m willing to negotiate. Make me an offer.
