BCBG Paris Clutch Gator style Leather

This still has the tags on it, but it's not exactly in perfect condition. Inside near clasp is loose and the metal edge has made and impression that n the leather. On back it looks like the color was rubbed a little. Maybe it was just thin paint? (See pics) Maybe it's supposed to be like that? I really don't know either way.
