dragonflyridge @pambagluv1 Not quite sure how to answer your question, as heavy is subjective. So I'll answer this way...the purse is made from a quality, soft thicker leather. In my opinion, it is not feather light, nor is it too heavy as to cause me any discomfort when I have used it a few times. However, with that being said, it just really all depends on what your version of heavy is. Sorry, I know that's probably not a huge help. 😞
