@aldendawkins The dress is about 31" at the empire waist (the waistline is just below the bust). The length is 55" from shoulder to the floor. I was probably 5' 6" while wearing heels. I'm not a sewing expert but I don't see any extra fabric to take out the waist- there is a liner so I believe the seamstress sewed everything in the inner liner and then closed it.
