SOLD Authentic antique native American

All the research I can find on this piece says it is authentic. This is the medicine Mans rattle. It is believed to ward off bad spirits and bring good fortune to the tribe. This is a Navajo relic This is a complete turtle wrapped in skin. This is said to have scalp and feathers on it. the scalp has gotten weak over time and the feathers have fallen to the bottom/ but are still with the item. I do not know what time of skin it is wrapped in, but it is definitely shin
