Authentic antique Māori tribe carved wood tiki/teko. The figure is inset with beautiful Paua shell eyes. Moana is of Maori origin and means deep Sea / Ocean in Te Reo Maori, the national language of New Zealand. It has beautiful amber glaze and tongue sticking out in heart shape. Backside it has carver’s initials engraved. It can stand on mantel or book shelf. You can drill small hole in back or use 3M glue to hang it if you wish. The tiki/teko measures approximately 7" high, 2 1/2" across, and 1” at the base. It has all the nuances of superb hand carved tribal art.
