you really have to stop worrying as much as you are..I'm right on track but still very little weight bearing at the point..that should change in about a month or so..when I say I broke my femur right in half,I sure did..I lost my golden retriever this week, passed in his sleep..heartbroken.

so heartbroken about Handsome..He was a beautiful,kind,strong,loyal animal and we all miss him terribly..

@millionairz14 ..Especially his little sister Dory..she keeps looking for him and we can tell how lost she feels..we adopted him a year after we adopted her so shed have a busy ro olatxwith and they became so close.
The hard part was I couldnt get down from the bed to hug or kiss him because of how I would have had to position my leg..as the second adoptee he always felt a little more grateful .hed never completely finish his food. would always leave a few bites for Dory..

@warnocks I'm sorry I replied to the wrong person above🤭..It's the recuperation blues,lol! Another thing I wanted to tell you about Handsome as far as him being considerate is that he laid sleeping peacefully for 2 days prior, mustered ALL of his energy twice to go outside to the bathroom & on the 3rd day after a long gasp, he was gone. We honestly believe it was his way of not wanting to make a mess or be a bother..Some animals are amazing and he really was..🕊❤🕊❤

@damiangray Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s truly heartbreaking to lose a pet. They add so much to our lives. This past year I don’t know what I would’ve done without my big, fat, black Oscar. He would lay by me for hours, so comforting! I’m still at work and I feel so much better!! I’m glad you’re healing. 🥰

@damiangray I’m doing great! I’ve started collecting all my pics for a steampunk bowl. I have a bowl in the shape of a ship and I’m going to mix Victorian and super modern images, kind of like steampunk for our future. I’m super excited about doing it! We’ve had a week of soaking ☔️ rain which has been glorious! It’s been so long since it really rained. Hoping for a cool, wet summer! So good to hear from you!!🥰

@damiangray Thanks for that! That will help when it come to naming the piece AND do you have a super cool cane? When I was in Jerusalem, in a little shop, there was the coolest, most beautiful cane EVER!! I half heartedly negotiated for it but I was much younger then and couldn’t rationalize buying a cane. Oh, I wish I would have bought it. They say life is short buy the shoes but it should really be life is short buy the cane!!!😄
