Authentic Vintage Nepali Himalayan Sterling Silver Filigree Oval Drop Earrings

The fine filigree scroll work on these silver-on-silver hanging drop earrings is exquisite, a twentieth century extension of traditional Nepali Himalayan silversmithing techniques. The intricate filigree metal-on-metal work is showcased on the front sides, emphasized by the slightly oxidized finish, with a smooth polished silver backing (see pictures). The earrings are approximately 1.5-by-0.75-inches. Stamped with .925 for sterling silver. Silver hooks for pierced ears. Previously owned in excellent condition.
