Authentic Vintage 1930's Hand Made & Painted Japanese Pure Silk Kimono

belonged to my late mother who bought a bulk shipment of 100 vintage kimonos that were shipped to her straight from Japan in 1989. She planned to refurbish and repair them to feature and sell at her new boutique. She passed away before she could finish her project. This is on of a handful that are left that I kept. Time to share it and let it go to someone who will appreciate it's beauty and historical value. This is an authentic Japanese kimono, it was cleaned and pressed once by my mother years ago, and it's more of a show piece then a garment to wear, it's hand stitched and hand painted silk with sparking gold accents on the outlines of the design, it's in excellent condition considering it's age smells like moth balls a little bit and has one little place on the back of the right sleeve that the stitching is coming out a little bit but it's not torn or damaged at all no discoloration, fading, water damage, or stains. It's a absolutely beautiful 80 year piece of culturally authentic artwork!
