thehauteluxe Hi! I was just wondering... I bought a (brown Pepe) Pandora and it looks identical to my known, authentic (black Pepe) Pandora. The only difference I can detect is that the underside of my black Pandora has Givenchy impressed under the zipper pulls and the brown one does not. Do you know if ALL authentic Pandora zippers have Givenchy embossed on the underside of zippers? Or was this done for a certain year going on or?... Thank you for any help you can provide!

vocalvixen @mymelicious not all will have Givenchy embossed under the zipper! I too have a black one with the embossing and a brown one without.... the zippers without are usually YKK zippers, so look for that marking on the middle prong and also the number stamped on the inside of the zipper base. The zipper hardware can also be different and still be authentic, it depends on where it was made! Lmk if you have any other questions!! 😘💞

5tar5ales Do all pandora mini's have serial # stamp? Have you come across any that don't? I bought this one from a friend who works at Barneys and gets bags 40+% off so I never question her bags. But it has NO # under the tag. I took it to Neimans today and compared it to another indifferent color same style and it looked exactly the same, like perfect, but forgot to look for that under the tag. It is the mini pandora pepe GREY current still for sale at barneys online. Thanks.

vocalvixen @tw_k I just looked over your pics... on the black bag, while the stamping on the back of the zipper is compelling, I don't believe it to be authentic. Specifically looking at the inside tag- the logo is off and on a authentic bag the Givenchy Made In Italy is heat stamped all at once, on the pics you can see that the impression for the words is different.

The leather looks spot on, it will have natural distressing and be faded in spots - totally normal. Also, does the leather feel rich, thick? It looks good to me, but in person is obvi the best way to tell! As far as the details, the stitching, logo, tag, inside leather, etc -- all look good. This is the first bag I've authenticated in awhile that is actually authentic! It's a beauty, enjoy 😍💗💗

vocalvixen @carlysmommma honestly, just based on the inside tag I would say it's a replica. The brand logo is in an incorrect font and it's not perfectly centered- which is not within brand standards. Wear and tear, fading is normal, but uneven lettering is not. Sorry to say😕

The fakes will not have those distinct letter differences. Also, the serial number is correct font, heat stamp (not tag),etc. It’s def worth a chance, best way is seeing and smelling it in person!!!

marihiraya Oh my gosh. Thank you for this!! I was wondering if you are willing to look at a Givenchy mini pandora that I just purchased. It has a EF 1 3014 serial number which you have a photo of it in your listing as being authentic. This serial number has thrown me of because if we are going by the LVMH system which is 1st and 3rd numbers represent the week and the 2nd and 4th number representing the year. That would mean the 0314 would be first week of 2034 :/

But, if you purchase through Poshmark they will authenticate it for you if you pay over $500. I wouldn’t buy it offline. 😐

There are a lot of bags advertised as authentic, but the inside tag is sewn all the way around (not a flap) and doesn’t say “made in Italy” below the givenchy lettering. vocalvixen @jesianderson1 older versions do have that tag sewn onto the bag with the stitching all around, they are the first runs with the pocket instead of the zipped outside.

vocalvixen @larksandlace I don’t think the pics posted are of the same bag. 🧐 The last pic you can see it’s locked to a shelf display or something, look at the mirror reflection. Also, the pic with the foam on the straps, the peak on that triangle does not look correct and it’s pretty blurry, my guess that is the actual bag she’s selling. 😐

I have also found a lot of resellers don’t realize they have fake bags too. So it’s hard to decipher unless you really know what you’re looking for!

The thing with the “digital authenticity” is as long as you can send a serial number, they typically will mark it “authentic” — which as we know replicas as way more deceptive these days. The bag on site currently looks good.
