This is a fabulous traditional Egyptian Berber day dress. Made in and worn by ladies in Siwa Oasis, this dress is worn in the home. The hand embroidered collar is antique, recycled and used on a new dress each year. This is an authentic, unique and one of a kind piece. Please note: This dress is entirely handmade by local Siwan ladies. They are never made for tourists. They have been previously worn by a Siwan lady so they will show wear. Beads may be missing or loose. There may be holes or discolorations. There may be stains. There may be hanging or loose threads. This wear is normal and provides verification of the pieces authenticity. Rayon blend cloth. Dry cleaning recommended.
