vintage_rocks Wow!!! Make sure you share this to Pinterest, so people on the internet can find it. Roy Lichtenstein usually sells quickly. My Aunt collected his work. There were multiples produced of this "Pop Art Woman" but they are now rare and in demand.

rmccouture @hellovintage Isn't it amazing Bea? I've been holding on to it for a long time now. There are very few things in the world that appreciate in value over time; one of the things that does appreciate is art. The last auction sale I found for this piece was from 2014, and it sold for $5500. I don't know the first thing about auction houses, and I don't particularly want to give up that large of a chunk of the profit (not like I ever do, but this is really, really special). (cont)

rmccouture @hellovintage Do people buy things from Pinterest? I wish I was better educated on selling. I mean, I know how to sell on PM, and sold on eBay for over a decade, but I don't know how to sell without a third party. I'm sure there's a way! Lol. I post it to Pinterest. Thanks for the advice❤️

vintage_rocks Hi Amanda, what will happen with Pinterest is they will see it when they google the artist, they can go to the Pinterest page and see that you are selling it on Poshmark, I saw this up for auction for $9,800. My aunt has the exact same pin, she is a hoarder and probably would never sell it, but that is now the price on it, especially if it is in great condition, you can also post it on Instagram and that will lead back to your Posh closet too.

rmccouture @duskybutterfly It truly is epic; I should probably sell it through an auction house, I just don't know the first thing about auction houses, and I think they take a ridiculous commission. Organizing by color looks great, but it's a b*tch to keep up with! Totally exacerbates my OCD! If I spent 1/8 of the time organizing my real closet as I spend organizing my virtual one, I'd be much better off! ❤️

She works with (as a Master printmaker) and represents (selling/liaison) fine artists world-wide. She may even have worked with Lichtenstein back in the day.
