He (she) is 16” in length making it on the larger end of preemie Baby is weighted for realism and snuggling, more so in head and bum to create the floppy effect of a real newborn. Baby has full length vinyl limbs and doe suede soft body, again for that real feel. Baby is approximately 3 lbs painted and constructed completely by hand, unknown artist. Hand rooted real eyelashes, veining, shading and shadowing at a professional level. Lifelike “scratch” on his nose, slight peeling (intentional) on lips, and additional scratch to left outer forehead. See photos and ask any questions. Reborns are not for play and are an art form intended for collection purposes. Reborns are all done by hand making each one unique and not “perfect.” The final product is a reflection of the artist’s personal vision and skill. Preemies are more difficult to find, and I’ve not come across this kit before. My intuition feels like he is a vintage kit that is no longer made. Should that be the case, he’d be quite valuable.
