mistressavelyn @ashoz Not that I know of. It’s a real Moroccan coin (money). Artists will cut out parts of a coin to highlight the design. In this case, the artist cut the star out and soldered it back on to create a multi-dimensional piece of art. The artist I p this from had cut coins from all over the world. I don’t know of any deeper cultural or religious significance though.
