theclosetla @hutchmartin I love this but I’m nervous about the dry cleaning aspect. Have you ever done that to this blanket before?

hutchmartin @theclosetla I have not. The spots aren’t noticeable. If you’d like I’ll provide additional pictures of the spots. They’re more substantive than color-altering. Ie, like dried icing vs. red wine. But I’ll ask the Exclusive dry cleaners here their thoughts as well as my contact at the Hermès store here tomorrow morning...

hutchmartin @theclosetla ... If they think it can be done without damaging, I’ll have them do it and take the risk for you, but ask that you cover dry cleaning cost if I do all of this and you end up purchasing this.

Just a heads up, the original poster asked 4 or 5 hours before you did, and neither the dry cleaners nor Hermès has been open to answer those questions. I will post them this morning when I get them, if that’s ok! And I’ll post pics of the stains.

hutchmartin @lizzyisabelle @theclosetla Hermès recommends cleaning according to the care label, which I have, and the dry cleaners (Westbank Dry Cleaners, Austin, TX) says they feel comfortable cleaning it-as they have all the necessary equipment and they are known here as the best (and most expensive, lol) dry cleaners.

hutchmartin @theclosetla @lizzyisabelle (Cont’d.) I live in Dallas, but can have 3 day turn around as I’m down in Austin for work a couple times a week. If they can’t get it, I can guarantee no one can. If it ruins it, I’ll be the first to let you know and clearly won’t sell it.
