This is a simply wonderful little purse hand made and hand beaded by Berber women in Siwa Oasis, in Egypts Western (Sahara) Desert. Purse is made from traditional Berber black/white/orange striped cloth. Beadwork pieces such as this one were originally made to be worn on traditional Siwan wedding garments. This is a unique, one of a kind piece. Please note: This little purse is entirely handmade and beaded by local Siwan ladies. They have been previously used by a Siwan lady so they will show wear. Beads may be missing or loose. There may be holes or discolorations. There may be stains. There may be hanging or loose threads. This wear is normal and provides verification of the pieces authenticity.
