So these are authentic Louis Vuitton slides but on the right front strap my dog chewed up the tip I paid $100 to get it fixed at leather shop and they added authentic Louis Vuitton material. Does not look bad but I just do not want them which is shy they are priced as is!

davianna823 @shauntiquesykes so that’s the thing the bite marks are no longer there because I actually paid to get it replaced and it was replaced with actual Luis fabric but just not the exact Luis fabric as on the sandals but it looks pretty close as you can see on the pictures so the way you see the sandals are exactly how they are right now.

mop27shops Hi, so is the material on the right shoe twisted the way that it is in the pictures, permanently? Or is just the way the monogram leather is sitting/situated on these pics?

davianna823 @mop27shops I would say it is like that but I would imagine if you tied it down for like a day it would go down but they’ve just been sitting in the box since I got them fixed last summer I never wore them but I think if you tied it down or wrapped for a day or two it would go down.

davianna823 @mop27shops so I don’t want to lie to you and say that because I truly have not worn them since I got the strep fixed but what I would say is if you were to tie it down for a day or two while you’re not wearing it I would imagine that it would go down because the leather is pretty flexible

mop27shops @davianna823 I appreciate you trying to answer truthfully and with your best efforts. But maybe we’re misunderstanding one another. Simply, all I’m asking, is if the strap can be taken in/out of the buckle? Or, is it seen permanently the way that it’s shown in the picture since it has been re-crafted (it looks shorter than the strap on the other shoe). Please know that I’m not seeking to give you a hard time, I’m just interested in purchasing the shoes. Thanks.

davianna823 @mop27shops OK yes I do think I was misunderstanding you and I don’t think you’re trying to give me a hard time. So yes even though it has been re-crafted it can be taken out of the buckle but the one that has been crafted is actually a little longer than the other one. Let me know if that answers your question

davianna823 @mop27shops you can also probably have it cut to be more even with the other one but I think me i had just paid $100 to get it fixed after purchasing the shoes and these were my favorite slides I was just over it

mop27shops @davianna823 Thanks. When you post the pick of the authenticity code on Sunday would you also post a pic of the reinforced strap UNbuckled laying flat as it can lay so that I can see the difference in length compared to the strap on the opposite shoe?
