Authentic Antique Five Strand Woven Silver Wedding Dowry Belt From India

All original heirloom silver with deep patina. This belt has a hook closure, 5 silver rope strands, 13 rosett bands. It is very long for this type of belt at 36 inches. It is 1/2 inch wide. This belt style is sought after for belly dancers and looks great over clothing or directly on exposed skin. These sell elsewhere for up to $1200. It can be polished to a high sheen but the patina is valuable on this antique piece. I'm not sure when this was made but the patina suggests it is antique. I've owned it since the 90's.
