dbologna @missdanamarie hi! Sorry for the delay! The width of the purse is 12 in, the height is 7 in. There is a divider in the purse to give it two sections and a zippered pocket. I'll add a picture. Also, It's not meant to be carried on the shoulder but it fits on mine. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.
