pinayginger No@kode_chic4 it has not exposed enough to sunlight, i t is beautiful in person very smooth to the touch..if you really are interrested please check if you have hermes spa nearby and show them the pictures and they can tell you if they can do something about the spots.. it is not noticeable in person but i have to take the picture with the spots so people know what they are buying:)

pinayginger i don't think it is advisable to re dye it,material is untreated young calf leather (vache leather) these style using vache leather has been discontinued production by hermes,si it is limited edition.....it just need to be expose more outside often,i have not use it since i put up for sale...and no i don't trade...especially this one...am thinking of just keep it..@baglover4ever

lisadances2 @pinayginger could the spots be from the rain? I don't see how more light would make spots disappear. This looks like what happens to Louis Vuitton bags when rained on and not yet patina.

pinayginger @lisadances2 YES THEY ARE WATER MARKS BUT IT WILL BLEND IN IF ONLY IT GETS MORE EXPOSE OUTSIDE..HAVE NOT USE IT SINCE I PUT UP FOR SALE..

pinayginger @lisadances2 An unprocessed surface makes this leather extremely delicate. However, it also features a strong hardness which means as it matures through use and over time the color and texture of the leather also changes.I actually am the second owner of this purse,and have only used it few times..

pinayginger @baglover4ever it looks like it is a box calf leather due to all the visible scratches...it can be very expensive to minimize and restore it as they had been discontinued production and the only ones who can restore it are the french people ...i am just wondering though why it is black?...

pinayginger @baglover4ever Classic smooth calf leather. A more rigid structure than the grainy leathers. Will show scratches more than the textured leathers, but over time it will develop a beautiful “patina”. Calfbox is one of the few skins that can be re-conditioned by Hermès - they send it to France to the original craftsmen that created the piece, and it will be returned almost as new!

pinayginger @baglover4ever wow!!cheaper than a full repair for LV?that is a great deal..so it probably will be less to have this purse cleaned? just a Hermes Spa is what it needs...so the cracking isn't that bad?i don't know but i don't feel good about carrying a purse with cracks but yours is wayyy cheap for that price at least it can be repaired!:)
