beyondutopia @royaltey1 boulder opals do not look like this. There is no host matrix which would be dark, and opals wouldn’t have even and linear striations. Go look up blue lace agate - that’s what these are. Sincerely, I am GIA trained.

royaltey1 @beyondutopia it is marked correctly I have more from shop LC.the blue agate is much more white and pale blue and is not banded . I thought the same thing you did. I saw them at multiple vendors at the gem show under the same name boulder opal.
