Atomic Era / Deco Casserole Moderne Vintage Mid Century Art Deco Dish 40s 50s

What a beauty! This covered casserole serving dish, circa 1940s-50s, has design features of both Art Deco and Mid Century. Made in England by Crown Ducal. Best described as Atomic Era, it looks like a spaceship that might rise from your table! The elegant pink (peach / salmon) and gray stripes and ribbing highlight other Deco elements like the lid knob, dish handles and the architectural lines along the feet. Excellent condition! No chips or cracks - a mere dot or two (likely in the glazing). Measures 10” handle to handle, 8.5” diameter, ~5.5” high (3” high without lid). Offers considered.
