howlee360 @kgb0218 no string at the waist. Just a pull on bottom. Laying flat the bottom is about 20”. Quite a bit of stretch in the waist. Ashley Stewart Curvy girl line sizing is different from their regular sizing. Their chart puts the 3X at about a size 18/20. Hope this helps!
