Asch Grossbradt 18K Yellow Gold Multi-Color Enamel Large Brooch

Very bright and colorful brooch by Asch Grossbradt, made in 18K Yellow with a bubble like design accented with bright multi-color enamel. Mother-of-pearl, coral, lapis lazuli, and malachite plaques, 18k yellow gold, signed Asch Grossbardt. Measurements of the brooch 6.0 x 6.2 cm (23/8 x 2.1/ in). Exquisite color combinations were a signature design element of Asch Grossbardt collections. Lustrous mother-of-pearl was twinned with jet-black onyx for stunning contrast. Marine blue lapis lazuli rubbed shoulders with a majestic purple sugilite, a gemstone in Africa that remained undiscovered until 1970. Coral, turquoise, and Australian opal formed a lovely pastel combination that paid homage to Southwestern art.
