A true work of functional art, this is a stunning, vintage Mancala board, handcrafted and signed by woodworker David Levy of Davis, California. Far superior to mass-produced versions, this board is a beautiful piece of decor and a timeless strategy game in one. The board is skillfully crafted from laminates of several gorgeous hardwoods, including rich walnut, classic oak, and a striking, deep purple stripe of purpleheart wood. The finish is smooth and lustrous, and the board features the traditional layout of 12 playing pits and two large "stores" at each end. Protective felt pads on the base prevent scratches on your tabletop. Condition: Gently used with no visible flaws. The board is in excellent condition. The set is complete with a full set of black glass playing stones (one stone is a slightly different color, see photos).
