kktg @boynesuzyq You are correct. Transparent tanzanite is quite pricey, usually set in gold or platinum, and has a grading scale, AAAA, AAA, AA, etc. This tanzanite stone is authentic, but it’s not transparent. It’s hand carved with a flower to match the Bali design of the ring. The coveted color is still there it’s just not facet grade material. It’s approximately an 18mm x 14 mm tanzanite.
