Art Nouveau c.1911 Gold Gilt Sterling Amethyst Filigree Necklace & Earrings

The necklace was handcrafted c. 1911 in an Art Nouveau stylized peacock feather. The filigree chain and pendant has a gold overlay on sterling silver. The pendant showcases a mixture of amethyst and tourmaline cabochon stones and art glass. The earrings are also gold gilt over sterling with glass cabs and faux pearl dangles. This set is in overall excellent condition with wear to the gilt showing on chain (see photos) due to age. The necklace measures 15” from end to end and secured with a spring ring clasp. The pendant is 4.5” in length. The earrings are 2” in length and secured with screw backings. NOTE: Neither necklace nor earrings are marked Sterling. The set was tested with an acid scratch test and both swabs came up brick red indicating silver at the .925 level.
